Home Staging in Queen Anne, Seattle

Wednesday, June 17th, 2009

Queen Anne Dutch ColonialThis home was a 1926 Dutch Colonial on Queen Anne. Before going on the market this home was:
  • Completely refurnished, removing old furniture and 50% of personal belongings
  • New hardwood floors with dark espresso finish
  • New exterior paint with interior trim with designer colors
  • Fresh landscaping with new sod, shrubs and rock wall

(All of the work listed above was done in a 2 week time frame!)

This house looked very good and sold at the highest price per foot of any house on the street and it sold in 12 days. Oh yes, it also sold above asking price in a bidding war. A bidding war in the middle of winter… This is a perfect example of the power of staging and design work.
